Dr. Paul Gierz
I am a research software engineer in climate and polar science, focusing on integrating sustainable development practices into climate and earth-system modelling workflows. Scientifically, I want to understand the Earth system's natural processes and oscillations — because only once we understand the natural system can we tell how much of what we observe is us, and how much is the system doing what it has always done.
